Where does WebP work?
Every modern browser: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge all support WebP. Some email clients and desktop apps still do not, so keep JPGs for those.
Should I convert every image on my site?
For content images, usually yes. Keep an original-format fallback if you support very old browsers, or use the picture element to serve both.
Will WebP help my SEO?
Indirectly, yes. Smaller images improve Largest Contentful Paint, one of the Core Web Vitals that Google uses in ranking. Faster pages also bounce fewer visitors, which compounds the benefit.
Can I convert multiple files at once?
Yes. Select up to 30 files at once (or drag them all into the uploader) and they download together as a single ZIP. Batches are capped at 150MB total, and if any file fails, the ZIP includes a plain-text report naming it instead of silently dropping it.
