Does WebP keep PNG transparency?
Yes. WebP fully supports alpha transparency, so logos and UI graphics convert cleanly.
How much smaller will it be?
Screenshots and flat graphics often shrink 60 to 80 percent. Detailed photos saved as PNG shrink even more. Your result shows the real before and after.
Is WebP lossy or lossless?
It can be either. This tool uses high-quality lossy encoding at quality 82, which is visually clean for screenshots, graphics, and photos alike.
Can I convert multiple files at once?
Yes. Select up to 30 files at once (or drag them all into the uploader) and they download together as a single ZIP. Batches are capped at 150MB total, and if any file fails, the ZIP includes a plain-text report naming it instead of silently dropping it.
