Every result shows the actual before and after file size. Converting between formats can make files bigger or smaller depending on the content, and we show you the truth either way.
Uploads are capped at 25MB per image. That covers photos from every current phone camera. If your file is larger, resize it first and try again.
WebP files are around 25 to 35 percent smaller than equivalent JPGs, so pages load faster. Browsers handle WebP fine, but plenty of desktop apps, upload forms, and older tools still reject it.
Usually yes, because WebP compresses more efficiently. We encode at quality 90 so the JPG looks the same as the WebP you started with.
This tool converts the first frame only. Animated WebP to video or GIF is a different job that we do not currently support.
Yes. Select up to 30 files at once (or drag them all into the uploader) and they download together as a single ZIP. Batches are capped at 150MB total, and if any file fails, the ZIP includes a plain-text report naming it instead of silently dropping it.
